ELF Spring General Assembly

On April 26th 2019, the European Liberal Forum held the Spring General Assembly in Brussels, Belgium.

The Board of Directors, chaired by President Dr. Jürgen Martens MP, discussed strategic issues, as well as statutory and budgetary issues.

Four member organisations took the opportunity to showcase some of their initiatives. Nikos Charalambous from KEFiM presented their annual workplan and their flagship initiative, the Tax Freedom Report and their main partnerships with European and global partners. Bent Nicolajsen from DLDP presented their work in Africa and their latest initiative, the People Dialogue Festival, a political festival taking place in Kenya. The goal is to promote constructive dialogue among citizens and popular participation.

Blazej Lenkowski from Fundacja Liberté invited all to the Freedom Games in Lodz, Poland, from 13-15 September 2019. The Freedom Games are an interdisciplinary forum which gathers in Lodz, Poland, leaders and
renowned thinkers to engage them in a debate on the most important
challenges that Poland, Europe and the world as a whole must face in the
21st century.
